DO YOU MAKE YOUR DESIGNS YOURSELF?
100% - I draw, design and hand-make everything myself. It is my passion and I love creating. No two pieces are exactly alike and that’s what makes everything even more unique and special - just like you!
WHAT KIND OF EARRING POSTS DO YOU USE?
I use high quality hypoallergenic surgical stainless steel ear posts with most of my designs. These posts are usually suitable for people with sensitive ears. I also use 2.5cm stainless steel hoops for my hoop designs. For hook designs, I make all of my own hooks out of stainless steel.
Sometimes I used rhodium plated hoops for a different look. Rhodium is claimed to be robust and tarnish-resistant as well as naturally safe for most ears. The base metal is high quality stainless steel. Rhodium is a hard precious metal that is often used to plate wedding rings for extra shine and protection.
On occasion I may use Sterling silver posts, hoops and ear hooks for particular earring designs. These will be more expensive due to the additional material cost.
I primarily use a very strong, durable jewellery glue to adhere my earring posts to my designs.
The clip-on backs that I use are stainless steel. I will always list what type of findings I have used on the individual item listing for your information.

WHAT TYPE OF EARRING CLUTCHES DO YOU USE?
I use high quality stainless steel clutches for my designs. The larger designs have comfort backs which feature a flat plastic disc to keep your design flat against your ear lobe and provide extra support.
Smaller designs will include small stainless steel ear clutches which are very sturdy and discreet.
For some hook designs, I will include a small clear rubber back for added security and convenience.
DO YOU DO CUSTOM ORDERS?
Not at the moment unfortunately.
HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE TO ARRIVE?
My standard turnaround time is 2 - 7 business days before your order leaves my premises. I am the only one running my business (I wear alllll the hats!) so this allows me enough time to organise everything for your order. (For info regarding shipping, please see my shipping page.)
DO YOU COMBINE ORDERS?
Yes I certainly do! If you place more than one order in a 24 hour period and wish to combine shipping, please use code COMBINEME at checkout. Also please leave your exisiting order number in the comment section so that I know which orders to combine.

HOW LONG DO MADE TO ORDER PIECES TAKE?
As more work and time is required to create these designs, I currently advise 5 - 10 working days. This allows me adequate time to produce them, especially if multiple customers have purchased these designs. If additional time is required I will let you know.
PRE-SALE ORDERS
Similar to made to order, these items have a longer turnaround time. I will cap pre-sale orders after a certain time period (usually a couple of days) and then send the designs to be cut. I will then assemble them as soon as the pieces are received and ship them to you in a timely fashion (approx. 10 working days after the pre-sale closes). Orders containing pre-sale designs will be shipped in one order so please keep that in mind if also ordering other pairs of earrings that aren't pre-sale.
What happens if you miss out on the pre-sale window? I will likely restock my website with the pre-sale designs after the exisiting orders have been sent. The designs will be listed on my website as usual in a regular restock and will be subject to availability.
HOW DO YOU CREATE YOUR RESIN DESIGNS?
My resin designs are all hand poured and painstakingly finished by me using various processes. I also design and make my own silicone moulds and use eco resin which is made with processes and materials that are better for the environment.
DO YOU LASER CUT YOUR OWN ACRYLIC?
As of the time writing this, no I do not. I enlist the services of a local laser cutter to cut my designs and I love to support fellow small businesses. I draw and design everything myself, they cut it for me, and I assemble everything in my home studio. Producing acrylic jewellery is a very involved process and certainly 100% handmade. I aspire to own my own laser cutter one day.
IS YOUR JEWELLERY AUSTRALIAN MADE?
It is all made by me in my home studio in Brisbane, Australia. I also source all materials and jewellery findings from fellow Australian small businesses.
HOW IS PLASTIC JEWELLERY SUSTAINABLE?
Sustainability is very important to me. So how is plastic sustainable? It’s all about quality over quantity. When I make a design, it’s with MY own two hands and nothing is mass produced. I present my pieces on cardboard product packaging and avoid single use plastic for packaging and posting etc. My tools are also cleaned and reused and I retain scrap pieces for future projects.
The plastic components of my jewellery are made in small batches and I also use eco resin. Sometimes I also make jewellery from repurposed and natural materials. Creating quality jewellery avoids landfill and makes the earth happy.
I make my pieces to literally be wearable art, an investment piece for you to enjoy for years to come.
